A list of the state facilities where the Ukrainian refugees will be accommodated has been made, caretaker Minister of interior, Ivan Demerdzhiev, said at a briefing in Bourgas on November 3.
We have made a list of the state facilities, we’ve secured them, we’ve verified that they have the material capacity to host people, at no point will we allow ourselves to be in a situation where there’s nowhere to accommodate people who wish to be accommodated.
It is not yet clear how many people need to be relocated, the minister said when asked by BNT:
"The problem there is that out of 14,000 people requested (in hotels - ed. note), 3,200 are missing and they are not in the places of accommodation where it is indicated that they are. So, at the moment our information is not accurate," he said.
34 000 places in state facilities available for accommodating Ukrainian refugees who have been staying in hotels,
The bases have a capacity of 34,000 places available for accommodating Ukrainian refugees who have been staying in hotels and will be filled in phases, starting with those at the seaside for ease of relocation from the hotels. "The Border Police and all regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior in the country have received lists of both the bases and the refugees willing to be accommodated in them.
