Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1021 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,021 from 5,586 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 14.

The test positivity rate is slightly over 18%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,181,657.

The active cases are 10,457.

Of the total, 493 patients are in hospitals, 39 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 376 recoveries;

• 3,644 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 2 Covid-19 related death.

Of the daily cases, 62.39% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 50% had not been vaccinated.

There were 85 new hospitalisations, of which 69.41% had not been vaccinated.
