Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,274 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,274 from 5,999 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 12.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,224,222.

The active cases are 20,471.

Of the total, 1,056 patients are in hospitals, 57 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 3,504 recoveries;

• 2,908 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66.41% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66.67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 122 new hospitalisations, of which 74.59% had not been vaccinated.
