The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,350 from 6,713 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 17.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,229,633.
The active cases are 19,270.
Of the total, 1,059 patients are in hospitals, 53 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
• 2,040 recoveries;
• 2.105 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
• 13 Covid-19 related deaths.
Of the daily cases, 65,70% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 84,62% had not been vaccinated.
There were 179 new hospitalisations, of which 76,54% had not been vaccinated.
