Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,636 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,636 from 7,596 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 10.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,221,883.

The active cases are 24,989.

Of the total, 1,064 patients are in hospitals, 48 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 2,553 recoveries;

• 2,933 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 9 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 68.46% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 88.89% had not been vaccinated.

There were 173 new hospitalisations, of which 75.72% had not been vaccinated.
