The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,750 from 8,455 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 23.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,235,510.
The active cases are 14,853.
Of the total, 940 patients are in hospitals, 45 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
• 3,178 recoveries;
• 1.149 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
• 16 Covid-19 related deaths.
Of the daily cases, 65,89% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93,75% had not been vaccinated.
There were 207 new hospitalisations, of which 77,78% had not been vaccinated.
