Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 479 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 479 from 1,903 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 1.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,207,167

The active cases are 24,181.

Of the total, 977 patients are in hospitals, 56 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 38o recoveries;

• 79 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 3 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 69.10% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 23 new hospitalisations, of which 78.26% had not been vaccinated.
