Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 489 new cases, positivity rate over 27%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 489 from 1,784 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 25.

Test positivity rate is over 27%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1, 195, 372

The active cases are 18,538.

Of the total, 890 patients are in hospitals, 46 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

•134 recoveries;

• 85 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 1 Covid-19 related death.

Of the daily cases, 66.46% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100% had not been vaccinated.

There were 32 new hospitalisations, of which 81,25% had not been vaccinated.
