Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 549 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 549 from 4,587 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 28.

The test positivity rate is 12%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,171,235.

The active cases are 60,017.

Of the total, 339 patients are in hospitals, 25 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,460 recoveries;

• 1,1160 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 2 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 57,56% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 50,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 43 new hospitalisations, of which 69,77% had not been vaccinated.
