Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 747 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 747 from 5,398 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 2.

Test positivity rate is 13,8%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,243,657.

The active cases are 11,705.

Of the total, 823 patients are in hospitals, 50 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,355 recoveries;

• 1,068 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 65,06% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 102 new hospitalisations, of which 83,33% had not been vaccinated.
