Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 779 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 779 from 5,471 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 14.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,268,814.

The active cases are 10,694.

Of the total, 690 patients are in hospitals, 45 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 792 recoveries;

• 2,005 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 2 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,03% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100% had not been vaccinated.

There were 84 new hospitalisations, of which 77,38% had not been vaccinated.
