Coronvirus in Bulgaria: 1,951 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,951 from 7,760 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 3.

Test positivity rate is 25,1%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,211,728

The active cases are 25,973.

Of the total, 1,040 patients are in hospitals, 58 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,125 recoveries;

• 2,896 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 10 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 64.99% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 80.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 189 new hospitalisations, of which 74.07% had not been vaccinated.
