The Prosecutors’ College of the Supreme Judicial Council resumes the procedure for the election of a new Prosecutor General at its meeting scheduled for 9 September.
The agenda, which includes three points, is to first amend the rules for the selection of chief prosecutor, then resume the election procedure, which was opened on June 22 last year but suspended due to constitutional amendments.
The third item is to adopt the schedule according to which the election of the Prosecutor General will be conducted.
