People are worried and waiting for evacuation orders. The fire is spreading very fast and is heading towards the pine forests of Mount Pirin. The risk is huge. The terrain is very difficult to access.

In 2017, a huge fire burned for 10 days in the area, which reached from Mechkul to the village of Vlahi.
