Big wildfire is raging across the region of Karlovo, South-Central Bulgaria, on July 16. The flames are only metres away the houses in the villages of Karavelovo and Bogdan.

Wheat fields, rose plantations and pastures are burning. The road Moskovets - Bogdan and Bogdan - Karavelovo is closed.

Five teams of fire-fighting services from the Plovdiv region, forestry officials and volunteers, as well as the mayors of Karlovo Municipality, of Karavelovo and Bogdan are on the spot.
