A big fire broke out in a hospice in the centre of Bankya, Mayor Rangel Markov confirmed to BNT on August 14. One person died and three were injured.
The fire has been contained. It broke out on the third floor of the building.
It was reported at 14:40. Three ambulances and three fire engines were deployed to the scene.
The fire was extinguished very quickly, but unfortunately there was a casualty.
Two women were severely burned and one was taken to Pirogov emergency hospital with 5% burns.
