Bulgaria’s Head of State Rumen Radev welcomed President of the Republic of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. The two will hold a meeting at the Presidency on September 13.

There is an increased police presence in the area. There are also journalists from the Republic of North Macedonia. Media are not invited to the meeting.
President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova is in Bulgaria on the occasion of the visit of the National Opera and Ballet of the Republic of North Macedonia, which will perform Giuseppe Verdi’s "Nabucco" in Sofia.

Within the 52nd edition of the May Opera Nights in North Macedonia, Silyanovska attended the performance of "Valkyrie", presented by the Sofia Opera and Ballet in Skopje, stressing "the importance and strength of cultural diplomacy as an integral part of international activity".
