Trakia motorway was opened for traffic in both directions after traffic to and from the seaside remained blocked for hours due to two accidents on August 5. A 19-year-old girl died in one of the accidents and three others were seriously injured. They have been taken to a hospital in the coastal city of Burgas for treatment. Doctors are fighting for their lives.
The accident occurred this morning shortly before 8:00 am in the area of Karnobat in the direction of Sofia. A passenger car driven by a 21-year-old young man hit the rear left tire of a cement truck.
From the impact, the car was flipped on the median barriers.

Earlier in the day, a second road accident closed the motorway in the direction from Sofia to Burgas, and traffic was diverted to a detour route. Several cars collided with each other. There were only material damages.
