Sofia's appellate prosecutor Radoslav Dimov has resigned for personal reasons.
He has asked to be dismissed both from the administrative post and as a prosecutor. The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) will consider Dimov's application at the meeting scheduled for 22 May.
Radoslav Dimov's name was involved in the Martin Bozhanov nicknamed ‘The Notary’ affair (who was not actually a notary). Dimov asked to be heard in the Prosecutors' College of the SJC on the issue, as well as by the Ad Hoc Parliamentary Committee.
Then, at the beginning of the two hearings, Dimov said, "I want to clear my name because I have a few days to live."
