A serious accident closed Trakia motorway at the exit from Burgas on August 6. One person died at the scene.
Two vehicles collided. Traffic was diverted by a detour route on the old road through Aitos.
The cause of the serious crash was a van catching and hitting a car due to failure to keep distance.
Alcohol tests of both drivers were negative. The motorway in the section “Vetren” residential quarter - Karnobat is closed, with traffic redirected on the road Vetren - Aitos - Karnobat - "Trakia" motorway.
