A large wildfire rages near Strelcha, central Bulgaria, on July 16. Around 10.00 this morning, a signal was given that coniferous forests were burning.
Fire fighting teams from Strelcha and Panagyurishte immediately went to the scene. Additional teams were sent from Pazardzhik, Belovo, Batak and Peshtera.
A drone was also provided by the District Administration to carry out aerial reconnaissance of the area.
Heavy equipment provided by a local company is also on site.
