Traffic in both directions on the motorway in the area of the crash was disrupted
A 19-year-old boy died in a serious car accident on Trakia motorway on May 31. A car, in which a father and son were riding, crashed into a truck.
After the collision, the car driven by the younger man probably have fallen under the trailer of the HGV.
The son died and the father was in shock and refused to be taken by ambulance to hospital. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the crash and whether the HGV struck the car. A forensic examination has been appointed to establish the speed of the car.
The accident was reported to 112 at 14:56. Two ambulances were immediately dispatched from the towns of Kostenets and Elin Pelin (Western Bulgaria).

Motorists are urged to drive with caution and at a reasonable speed, following the road traffic signs, the Road Infrastructure Agency said.
