Opportunities for further development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo were the focus of a meeting of caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the government press office said on April 22.
They expressed satisfaction with the active political ties between the two countries and confirmed the readiness to expand bilateral cooperation and the partnership to strengthen security, stability and prosperity in the region.
The two Heads of Government agreed that steps were needed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, highlighting the potential for building on relations in the areas of trade and economic ties, information and communication technologies.
In the course of the talks, caretaker Prime Minister Glavchev assured Kurti that Bulgaria continues to support Kosovo's European integration and Euro-Atlantic perspective, as well as the country's candidacy for membership in the Council of Europe.
