Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 777 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 777 from 5,635 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 1.

Test positivity rate is 13,8%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,242,910.

The active cases are 12,317.

Of the total, 813 patients are in hospitals, 52 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,207 recoveries;

• 1,309 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 3 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,84% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66,67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 113 new hospitalisations, of which 80,53% had not been vaccinated.
