A 37-year-old woman from the Galata district of the coastal city of Varna died of blood loss after being bitten by her own pit bull dog.
The incident occurred around 10.00 on May 29 in the woman's apartment. Neighbours called the emergency number 112. Two police teams and an ambulance were immediately sent to the scene.
However, the emergency medic could not help the victim. Neighbours said that the dog was aggressive and they were afraid of it.
