Presiednt Radev: It is obvious that the political crisis continues

It is obvious that the political crisis continues and its solution requires not only putting aside personal and partisan interests, but also demands adequacy, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev said on the sidelines of the Parliament immediately after the MPs did not support the nomination of Rosen Zhelyazkov as Prime Minister on July 3.

"What we saw today in the parliamentary debate is that somehow personal attacks dominated over political theses. And the focus was on the past rather than the present and the future. All of us, especially in times of crisis, should be guided strictly by the law. That is why I will strictly follow constitutional procedure from now on," the Head of State stressed.

Rumen Radev did not say when he would hand over the second mandate to seek to form a government.
