Storm drops egg-sized hail in Sevlievo (photos)

Sevlievo municipality (in Central Bulgaria) told BNT on June 4 that there were no reports of serious damage and injured people, and the storm lasted only a few minutes.

Larger hailstones were reported in the villages of Gorna Rositsa, Sennik, Petko Slaveykov.

Hailstorm hit near the village of Yavorets. The hailstones were the size of an egg.

This is the second storm to pass through the area in just 24 hours. After yesterday's downpours, there was serious crop damage and fallen trees. Settlements in Lovech district (Central Northern Bulgaria) have been without electricity for more than 20 hours.
