Trains cancelled and delayed due to damage in overhead electric lines at Poduyane station in Sofia

A failure in the overhead electric line in the section of Poduyane station in Sofia caused cancellations and long delays of train services on June 5.

The fast train Sofia - Burgas is running 95 minutes late, as the delay due to the fault has also led to waiting to catch other trains.

Trains in the direction Dragoman - Svilengrad, Sofia - Koprivshtitsa, Varna - Sofia are running with an average delay of half an hour.

Trains in the direction Septemvri - Sofia, Kostenets - Sofia are cancelled.

In another incident at Devnya station, a carriage of a freight train of a private carrier derailed and caused cancellation of trains from Varna to Suvorovo.
