The National Council of "We Continue the Change" approved a course for consolidation and upgrading of the coalition with "Democratic Bulgaria". This is stated in a message of the party, distributed to the media on July 8.
At today's meeting, “We Continue the Change” discussed the results of the latest parliamentary elections. The members of the National Council have approved the strategy for development of the political party "We Continue the Change" for 2024 and 2025, presented by the co-chairs Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev.
"WCC clearly positions itself as a centrist party, the mission and vision of which are guided by freedom and justice, the fight against corruption and achieving the European standard of living for Bulgarian citizens," the National Council said.
The members of the National Council have confirmed the need for better and more open communication - more clear messages related not only to Bulgaria's geopolitical place in the EU, but also to the issues that are most important for people's daily lives. The Forum advocated an uncompromising fight against misinformation.
The National Council of WCC has discussed and approved a course of consolidation within a coalition with Democratic Bulgaria and giving a mandate to the two co-chairs and Nikolai Denkov to participate in negotiations to upgrade the coalition agreement with Democratic Bulgaria.
The stated goal is to regain the trust of the voters and expand the political support for the coalition.
The WCC reiterated its position regarding the 50th Parliament that it does not see the conditions for the formation of a pro-European, anti-corruption government and would remain a constructive opposition.
