Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 586 new cases, positivity rate is 11,56%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 586 from 5,065 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 21.

Test positivity rate is 11,56%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,273,231.

The active cases are 10,223.

Of the total, 681 patients are in hospitals, 53 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 698 recoveries;

• 1,531 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 57,85% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 68 new hospitalisations, of which 75,00% had not been vaccinated.
