In a special interview for the BNT “Govori sega” programme on December 10, the Director of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund, Alfred Kammer, announced that the expectations for inflation in Bulgaria next year are that it will be between 6% and 8% on average per year.
According to him, the peak of the price increase in Europe has not come yet, and the forecast for the economic growth of the country, given by the IMF, is about to be edited. Kammer was in Sofia to participate in the business conference on the topic of the adoption of the euro, organized by Dir.bg, Confederation of Employers and Industrialists of Bulgaria and the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
