Sofia Airport is operating in high wind conditions for the second day, but remains open for arriving and departing planes.
Currently, flights are operating as scheduled, the airport's press office told BNT on January 19. The wind is still within acceptable limits for safe landings or take-offs.
The decision whether or not to land an aircraft is made by the captain of the flight depending on the situation at the time.
Passengers can monitor their flights on the airport's website or Facebook page.
