I am honoured and delighted to be moving to Bulgaria as the British Ambassador. Never before has our partnership been as important as it is today. From education to defence, technology to trade, we are working more closely together than ever before – as Lord Cameron’s visit last month shows. My top goal will be to strengthen our vital Strategic Partnership even further. Bulgaria is an extraordinary country with a glorious past and a magnificent future. My family looks forward to our arrival later this year - and to making many new friends, he said.
