NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte wrote on the social media platform X that he had a productive meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev and Romanian President Nicușor Dan regarding security in the Black Sea and the recent attacks on commercial shipping.
NATO has strengthened our posture along the eastern flank, including by increasing counter-drone capabilities. NATO will continue to work closely with our Allies in the Black Sea, adjusting our deterrence and defense posture as needed, Rutte stated in his post.
