"Unfortunately our meeting was one of his last. He sent me a personal and special message on every holiday. I keep these and will keep them all my life. I will remember him with the warmest, kindest eyes and the most forgiving soul," Vice President Iliana Iotova told journalists before entering the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral for the funeral service of Patriarch Neophyte on March 16.
The lesson we should learn from him is one of tolerance and love for each other, the Vice President said.
