The 20th edition of the World Festival of Animated Film officially opened on September 11 at the Festival and Congress Centre in the coastal city of Varna.
It will present the best in the genre created in the last year. 70 films are competing in 7 categories, 6 Bulgarian titles.
A five-member jury, composed of winners of major awards from previous editions of the festival, will announce the awards on September 15.
Alongside the competition programme, the festival offers lectures and master classes, seminars and professional discussions, children's workshops and exhibitions.
