BNT’s film "The King and the Sun. A Journey through the History of Ancient Egypt" has won yet another award

The popular science film produced by the Bulgarian National Television, "The King and the Sun. A Journey through the History of Ancient Egypt", won another prestigious award from an international film festival.

In the fifth edition of Nawada International Film Festival 2024, "The King and the Sun. A Journey through the History of Ancient Egypt" was awarded in the Best Documentary category among more than 1,800 productions from over 84 countries.

The film takes viewers on an exciting journey, revealing the ancient Egyptians' perceptions of the world and the cosmos. The author, screenwriter and narrator is Prof. Teodor Lekov, director is Stanislav Terziev - Stanley, consultant and editor is the Egyptologist Denitsa Takeva.

The magnificent footage was filmed by camera operators Kristian Spasov and Vladislav Petrov. The director of editing is Ara Khugasyan. In 2025, new BNT projects on Ancient Egypt will be realized by the same team.
