An avalanche partially buried a skier in the area of the Seven Rila Lakes.
The incident happened at noon earlier today, and there were people in the area who helped him.
The skier went beyond the track markings and was not equipped with equipment suitable for winter conditions, Mountain Rescue Service in Dupnitsa told BNT.
Rescuers are again urging tourists to be prepared for winter conditions, to have mountain insurance and not to go outside the designated places for skiing.
