The village of Bozhurovo, in Razgrad district, Northeastern Bulgaria, is known as one of the villages with the largest number of stork nests - 24 in total.
The residents believe that the village is chosen by the migratory birds because of the clean air and the nearby ponds and fertile agricultural areas that provide plenty of food. At the moment, the baby storks are in the nests, some of them can already be seen making their first attempts at flying.
