Glavchev caretaker government took an oath in office

The Glavchev cabinet took the oath of office at an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly on April 9. This will be the 10th caretaker government in the country, but after the changes in the Constitution - the first time that a caretaker government was sworn in at the Parliament, rather than at the Presidency.

Early this morning, Head of State Rumen Radev signed three decrees - appointing the caretaker government and scheduling the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Bulgaria and the European Parliament elections. The two elections will be on the same date - 9 June.

The nominee for foreign minister was changed at the last moment. Thus, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Montenegro, Stefan Dimitrov, became the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Minister of Interior, Kalin Stoyanov, despite calls from We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria to be replaced as well, remains at the head of the ministry in the caretaker government.

Minister of Labour and Social Policy: Ivaylo Ivanov

Minister of Transport and Communications: Georgi Gvozdeikov

Health Minister: Galya Kondeva

Minister of Education and Science: Galin Tsokov

Minister of Environment: Petar Dimitrov

Minister of Economy and Industry: Petko Nikolov

Minister of Innovation and Growth: Rossen Karadimov

Energy Minister: Vladimir Malinov

Minister of Electronic Governance: Valentin Mundrov

Minister of Agriculture: Kiril Vatev

Minister of Culture: Nayden Todorov

Minister of Tourism: Evtim Miloshev

Youth and Sport Minister: Georgi Glouchkov

Kalin Stoyanov, Kiril Vatev, Galin Tsokov and Georgi Gvozdeikov were Ministers in the Denkov cabinet as well.
