Military Medical Academy in Sofia will conduct free eye exams during World Glaucoma Week

Specialists from the Eye Clinic of the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Sofia will conduct free-of-charge eye examinations during the World Glaucoma Week.

The consultations will be carried out on 14 and 15 March 2024, from 14:00 to 17:00, in room No. 207 at the MMA Polyclinic.

For this purpose, an appointment should be made in advance by calling 02/ 92 25 555. A referral from the GP is not required.

As part of the initiative, on 14 March, at 13.00, in the Auditorium of the MMA, Prof. Dr. Lachezar Voynov will give a lecture on the new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.

"We believe that in this way we will show that we are open to all members of the public and will emphasize the importance of preventive examinations in terms of early diagnosis of diseases, which subsequently affects the treatment, said Colonel Associate Professor Atanas Kalaidzhiev, Head of the Clinic of Eye Diseases of the MMA.
