Bulgaria’s Parliament will meet in extraordinary sitting on 24 January 2023 at 10.00.
Speaker Vezhdi Rashidov convened the sitting on the basis of Article 78, item 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, Parliament’s press office said on January 23.
The agenda includes a hearing of the caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikolay Milkov, in connection with another case of physical assault against Bulgarians and Bulgarian citizens in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The programme also foresees a debate on a question to the caretaker Minister of Environment and Water, Rositsa Blahova, on the removal of 9,000 tonnes of illegal waste in the city of Pleven and a parliamentary question time.
Before that, MPs will discuss a bill on denunciation of the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Investment Bank and its Statute and the Agreement on the Organisation and Operation of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation and will, in a second vote, consider amendments to the Bulgarian Sign Language Act.
