Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev on March 26 held a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart, Klaus Iohannis, the Head of State's press secretariat said.
The challenges facing security in the Black Sea region in the context of Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine, as well as the negative economic consequences for Bulgaria and Romania, were the focus of the conversation.
Rumen Radev and Klaus Iohannis confirmed the shared responsibility of Bulgaria and Romania to ensure regional stability as NATO partners, including deepening connectivity and economic ties between the two countries.
