Bulgaria's President, Rumen Radev, on February 10, expressed gratitude to the European Commission and the member states for the support they provide to the countries with external borders of the European Union by providing additional funding for border protection.
In a social media post, the Head of State added that Bulgaria will continue to protect the EU's external border and to rely on the solidarity of all member states.
Rumen Radev is in Brussels for the European Council meeting. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived there yesterday.
