Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 45 new cases, positivity rate is 6%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 45 from 743 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 9, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 6%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,293,261.

The active cases are 3,930.

Of the total, 408 patients are in hospitals, 40 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 163 recoveries;

• 3 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 0 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 55,56% had not been vaccinated.

There were 11 new hospitalisations, of which 27,27% had not been vaccinated.
