"If I were appointing the caretaker government, we wouldn't be seeing this kind of statesman ineptitude." This is what President Radev said in response to a question on whether he would ask for the resignation of the caretaker Minister of Interior following criticism over the fairness of the elections.
"Resignations is not the issue, the issue is the control over the ministers and you should have been much more insistent when the assemblage in its appetite for power destroyed the Constitution, President Rumen Radev said.
Earlier on November 5, caretaker Prime Minister Glavchev said that appointments on the caretaker government were made in dialogue with the President and if he is dissatisfied with the Minister of Interior, he can ask for his replacement.
