Highest levels of air pollution in Sofia :today registered in “Levski G" and "Mladost" suburbs, the cleanest air was in "Buxton" and "Hippodruma"

The most polluted air was in the southeastern and northeastern regions of the capital city of Sofia - "Levski G", "Izgrev", "Mladost 1", as well as the area of the ring road in the direction of the village of German. The cleanest is the air above "Buxton" and "Hippodruma".

Sofia is in 35th place in the world rankings for polluted air this morning, February 21, in the yellow sector for fine particulate matter pollution, according to the Air-Quality website.

The city with the most polluted air this morning is Krasnoyarsk in Russia, second is Lahore in Pakistan, third is Dhaka in Bangladesh. The 10 most polluted cities are from countries in Asia - India, China, Saudi Arabia, and in tenth place is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo.
