One was a 69-year-old man from the village of Saraya in Pazardzhik District, who was driving the bus. The other was a 38-year-old Turkish national who was legally residing in Bulgaria. He worked as a driver for a private company based in Peshtera.
“The Pazardzhik–Plovdiv road had to be completely closed between the junction for the village of Malko Konare and the junction for the town of Stamboliyski. It remained closed throughout the night while the scene was examined. The inspection was carried out by an on-duty team from the Pazardzhik Police Department in the presence of a forensic doctor.
