Kiril Petkov (co-chair of We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria) hurts when he is told the truth, MRF-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski said on the sidelines of the Parliament on November 15.
Peevski described the failure to elect a Parliament Speaker as "a pitiful sight, a shame".
On third day of Parlaiment's first sitting, MPs again failed to elect a Speaker
"Everyone should sober up and start working. If we can't, we should go to elections," Peevski added.
According to him, someone should be given a clear trust once it has come to this situation.
"Unless there is a majority to support, there is no option, there is a complete blockage. If this Parliament cannot elect a Speaker then it cannot elect a government either, which pleases some people (referring to President Radev) who brought Bulgaria here, who are brazenly trying to present themselves as new saviours – President Radev, who brought Bulgaria here with his raised fist. He brought this 'change' which is a complete sham and resulted in 3 years of plundering the state, draining ministries and customs, theft, smuggling. Bulgaria has never been in a worse state," Peevski said.
