This was announced by Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria, Zhang Haizhou, after meeting with Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev on 11th of May. The ambassador briefed the head of state on the course of the rescue operation. It includes three Nepalese helicopters that are ready to fly the area under appropriate meteorological conditions.
There are six professional rescuers from China and three Sherpas.
All climbers in the area have also declared readiness to join the search. The hopes are that the clouds will disperse and a new satellite image will be able to show the surface.
Meanwhile, an extraordinary meeting on the subject is scheduled at the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria at 15.00 on 11th of May.
